Realisation?

Realisation is not removing things or neglecting certain things. Realisation is witnessing the veils & penetrating the consciousness through them.

Often people talk about getting rid of certain things or neglecting things like material possessions or comfort. But the question is, does it really lie in the abandonment or negation of something? Can we really know ourselves as a whole if we are not even able to accept parts of ourselves. I am not saying that we should not better ourselves but is negation really the answer?

How can we possibly know ourselves fully if we are not even looking at the whole thing together. I believe we have created polarities within, something to get rid of, something to keep. Does it really answer all the questions if we stopped being angry or or lost the ability to be? I don’t think so.

I feel realisation is the ability to look at it all without judgement or commentary. The feeling of being present as a witness of everything is realisation to me.

It is not gaining certain powers/abilities but being a witness.

Whatever I do in my life should be watched carefully and without judgment.

Like J. Krishnamurthy says ' We are creating violence within with all the negation that we cause ourselves for the sake of knowing the truth or enlightenment’.

I am not sure if these are the exact words but this is what I understood of it.

Being a witness of everything within and without is yoga to me. That is where I do not create distinction between the world and me. It rather shows a part of who I am. Realisation to me is being able to find myself in everything and not separating myself from anything. As within, so without.

This is where quotes like this start to make more sense.
